From first-time buyers to downsizers the beautiful collection of contemporary homes includes 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments as well as glorious penthouses with views of Stafford and the countryside beyond.
One of St George’s Mansions youngest residents ‘Emma & Joshua’ recently bought their first home with assistance from the government Help to Buy scheme. Bought off-plan Emma & Joshua secured their apartment and saw the working drawings quickly became their luxury new home.
When Emma & Joshua decided to begin the house hunt the financial challenges soon became apparent. According to Rightmove the average house price in Stafford last year was £192,775. Although cheaper than other parts of the West Midlands, the struggle to join the property ladder can be daunting for young buyers. However, with support from the Help to Buy scheme, Emma & Joshua were able to find the deposit to put down on their first home. Emma says;
‘Without Help to Buy we would not be where we are now, living independently in this beautiful apartment. I never thought I would see the day that we moved out from our parent’s houses!’
Emma & Joshua have certainly made their first property into a home. Positioned on the top floor at the front of the building this immaculate two-bedroom apartment has an open-plan kitchen/diner including an island, high top bar and spacious lounge area as well as two bedrooms, an en-suite and a family bathroom.
Now proud home owners they encourage others to take the plunge. With Help to Buy you only need a 5% deposit to purchase a new home from Shropshire Homes.
